It’s been a bit! Went on a cruise and then sorta…lost the momentum for a bit. UNWOUND is hitting the climax and I will admit, there is a part of me that is a bit reluctant to actually end it.
UNWOUND was and is an exercise in just writing. I didn’t plan much beyond the broad strokes in advance, I just wrote what was on my mind. That has resulted in the climax being a bit tricky to get right, but I’m going to put in the effort. I want to finish things before I move on to anything else.
However, because of the size of the climax (I’m planning on posting all the parts at once), it’ll be a bit longer before it drops. So, to put it in stone and hold myself to account for this:
UNWOUND: REUNION drops on October 31st, 2023, alongside a preview of the next project I’m working on. After UNWOUND and its unplanned push to write, the next things I’m working on I want to put a bit more thought and preparation into.
To fill in the gap between now and then:
- More single-shot stories, like Etel and the Tree of Blades or Ghostfire.
- Q & A on any questions in the comments of this post.
- Some more blogging about my current projects outside of writing (puppetry, animatronics, etc.)
